As
well as working on the helpdesk I worked on various projects throughout
the year:
Made changes to Helpdesk database to facilitate an add-on Internet
user interface. Presented a solution to an incompatibility problem
that was being looked at by Royal Blue Technologies (Helpdesk
software manufacturers) for many weeks. The solution was accepted
by MicroAge, which was then implemented by myself.
Installed and maintained temporary networks for Visa International's
annual meeting in Stockholm, Sweden (a special award was presented
to MicroAge from Visa International for this work.)
Created trouble shooting 'guides' for Printers and routers for
use in American Express foreign exchange branches all over Europe.
Took part in network installations for customers. Installed a
Local Area network for American Express located at Birmingham
International Airport. |
